Tim Hurst
As Wave Energy Scotland's Managing Director, Tim steers the company's success, responsible for overseeing business operations, overall performance and business strategy.
Tim is a Chartered Engineer with a background in defence and aerospace and has a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy Technology.
As a consultant engineer, Tim managed the construction of the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney and later joined the Scottish European Green Energy Centre (SEGEC) as Chief Executive.
After a period with Highlands and Islands Enterprise where he was responsible for Offshore Wind development, Tim became the Managing Director of Wave Energy Scotland in May 2015.
